YAY – it’s Christmas time! I can’t believe how quickly this year has passed, every day really seems to fly by like nothing. Still pondering if I should do a Christmas giveaway but then I think – there is too many around already. But may be I spoil yous a little nonetheless. Weihnachtsbazaar of Modeschule Wien at Schloss Hetzendorf – from 4pm with handmade items produced by students of the fashion school, check out Ghost of Fashion for a little preview. And grab some food&drinks because the revenues are being donated to a children’s hospice.
On Friday you can also celebrate the 7” release party at Chelsea of the Israeli based lo-fi bluespunk band TV Buddahs which is presented by Vice and kicks off at about 8pm.
If you’re not so much into lo-fi bluespunk (whatever that is!) or you don’t plan to stay at Chelsea for the rest of the night, you’re well advised to walk a few steps to The Loft since Susi Klub pitched its tent there – starting from 10pm.
Saturday and you’re not hungover enough to stay in? Well then you are spoilt for choice! On the one hand there is The Magic Carpet Ride, this time dedicated to Belle& Sebastian at Wirr Club starting at 22pm.
Or you can unpack your moustache, pay a last tribute to Movember and head towards Pratersern because that’s where Myyy Bitch Club is taking place, from 11pm onwards.
In Munich on Saturday? Well head down to Feierwerk because Flowerstreet Records are organising a gig for a good cause with local bands Talking Pets, Kafkas Orient Bazaar, Lucky Fish and Tuó. Starts at 8pm.
And if you’re in a christmas-y mood by next Wednesday, then join the Vice Christmas & Issue Release party at Xpedit Kiosk at Schleifmühlgasse. From 11pm.
