the top 5 frockazine articles 2011.

It’s end of the year and instead of what we should rather do – looking forward – everyone’s looking back to bad and good bits. We screened the good bits only though and checked what interested our readers – you – most last year. Since we didn’t do a lot of DIY none of it made it in the top 5, although most of 2010′s DIYs pop up right after.

By far the post about LesMads’ Katja’s wardrobe was the most popular, not only because it was later on tagged on lesmads.de but also because she was possible one of the most discussed topics in the German fashion blogger world.

Can someone succeed pioneer Jessie? Can anyone just take over a more or less “personal” blog successfully?

Well it seems it works! Even though so far I’m missing Katja’s fashion trend discoveries from bees and ballons a little bit.

Second most popular article was the one about Amanda Norgaard, who is a Danish model, who had Justin Hayward-Young from the Vaccines (our music tip for 2011) writing a song about her.
Obviously the Bym’lers didn’t like my post about a forum thread that was finally closed down. Why everyone was happy? Well, they like anonymously slagging off people there – not very nice, is it!?

Pia’s post about models’ outfits offside the catwalks attracted quite some audience – no wonder, don’t we all get more inspired by street styles than by designer collections?
And also my self-experiment – the 5 piece wardrobe – made an impact! By the way I’ll continue with that….
