discovered: Lina Österman
Having spent most of my childhood playing in woods, hiding, climbing and runnig about – I’m still drawn to everything slightly ’forest-y’. No wonder Lina Österman caught my eye. The Swede is a graduate from Central Saint Martins and former apprentice of Martin Margiela. Her current collection plays with different material, always in combination with her ‘hobby horse’ knitwear and is kept in all-black. The goth in the forest themed lookbook shoot definitely works and photographer Sigurd Widenfalk did an amazing job interpreting the items of Österman’s collection and emphasizing their unique charm.
