The real inner core of Berlin creative minds

my fave off-side designers during BFW a/w 12/13. Berlin Fashion Week is over now since a couple of weeks – I know guys! But while some impressions, some brand’s clothing is getting out off my head one after the other, there were certain creative heads, which obviously caught my attention until now – literally every single detail stayed in my mind, even all those nifty details,  from leather knit to multicoloured tees and to never-seen etching techniques!

And the phenomenon about it is, that I’m not talking about THE big and the biggest! I didn’t find the majority of my personal FW faves during the huge runway shows at all. But rather at the small, little hidden venues which showed the real thrilling things.

Zillmann: first look – LOVE! Honestly, not the pieces caught my first interest. It was furthermore the designer itself: Alisa Zillmann, a feisty, young ESMOD graduate! Oversized/Unisized/Overcool! What? Plain white tees: hand-sewn. Unique (none is like the other) portrait prints of Zillmann’s everyday life heroes: hand-sprayed! Fabulous!!

Nicola Bacchilega: To be honest, you’ve probably seen it before! – but definitely not in that way! Although presenting in the everything, but spotlighted corner of EDGED showroom, Nicola was the first designer that really caught my eye! I was especially keen on the leather knit sweaters, with the certain sheer effect, but kept quite decent and nifty. Nicola creates an unique mystical feeling. More more more, please!!

Ian commeonveut: Take some fabric, corrode it (if it’s too hard for you otherwise, just buy it and present it to me) and you’re making me literally dreaming candies. Place? At Berlinpieces!  And you might think a ‘simple’ net may not wearable in day wear. Weather god increase degrees, please! Vienna streets, please, unlearn conservatism! Then, get ready, seeing me rocking the streets!!!…
