Let yourself get into the brand new and magic universe of TALLY WEiJl

That is what wednesday night at the Opening of the first international flagship store.What an experience. Balloons, magicians, cotton candy, cocktails, fortune teller, bubbles, a contortionist dancer, popcorn, all sort of candies and of course my personal highlight tiny little rabbits to cuddle. There was so much to discover and the cutest little details in every corner of the store. I really did feel like alice in wonderland – something every little girl is dreaming of. Not to forget star guest Pixie Geldorf and the amazing Monsieur P’trique. Both also joined us on the dancefloor at the afterparty, shaking our booties to the amazing sound of One Direction, Taylor Swift and some crazy rap beats. (Thanks to the Pet Fan Club DJs for that by the way!!)

No matter it’s your taste of clothes or not, in his little opening speech star set designer Michael Howell, said something like “Shopping nowadays has to be entertaining.” And after seeing this store there is one thing I can promise you: even without candies and rabbits to cuddle in this new Tally Wejl Store plenty of entertainment is waiting for you.

This is the rule I made up for myself after a dramatic experience a few weeks ago. After, I’ve been smart enough to wear my new, beloved leather boots for the first time dancing about 8 hours in a club, my feet were absolutely destroyed. When I got up the next morning the only shoes I could imagine my feet somehow to survive that day were my running shoes. Out of the approximately 15 pair of shoes I own!

That was the day when I told myself finally to invest in some good-looking, comfortable, high quality Sneaker. Well easier said than done. I visited so many different online-shop, but as soon as I liked a pair of sneaker they were sold out in my size. And then there is another aspect: There are literally thousands of sneakers in all fancy colours that look great with jeans and a simple t-shirt. But as soon as you are looking for sneakers that also go with a dress or a skirt, it’s getting harder. At least that was what I thought until I stumbled across some new styles of the Nike Roshe while visiting inflammable.com:

I think with this shoe I found the sneaker of my dream: Leightweight, simple yet elegant silhouette, minimalistic design, no embellishments, justs the basic necessities of a running shoe. The Nike Roshe is intended to be versatile, can be dressed up or down and both worn with or without socks. Just the perfect sneaker for every occasion.

There is only one more problem left : Out of all those styles and colours  -  which one should I choose?

Huh, this decision is going to be a tough one. But for now I’m just full of happiness for  finally finding the perfect sneaker. And as we all know happiness is even bigger if you can share it, we’ve got a little surprise coming for you very soon. So make sure you’ll stay updated!!

Last week some of my ADVANTGARDE fellows and I were invited to the reopening of the H&M store at Mariahilferstraße 53.  This store is the first one in Austria that offers the lovely h&m home collection from now on. Great news – especially when it comes to interior it’s so much better to be able to touch the things, than just seeing them online.

This new store is going to be dangerous for my wallet. I  immediately fell in love with one bedcover, those cups and a beautiful pillowcase with an owl on it. I’ll definitely visit the store again in a couple of days. And you should do this as well – go and get inspired!

Just in case you ever wondered how to wear your Adidas trackies and still look somewhat cool and stylish – well I think I kind of managed to. It’s obviously up to you to judge, but I definitely wouldn’t mind going out in this outfit as it looks the part and is super comfy.

With spring just having arrived at our doorstep – I hope you all had an amazing Sunday outside being able to enjoy the sun! – Festival season has officially started. Not so long ago journos made us jealous with their reports from SXSW but the most fashionable festival of the year is definitely taking place this weekend! It’s Coachella and you can even stream it live →here.
I was wondering what I would wear to fit into the festival/ fashion crowd and decided the outfit above is both fashionable and comfy enough to go crowd surfing. All items are available in the → Topshop Online Store. 

But when I came across those red Onitsuka Tiger Sneakers a few weeks ago while choosing “must have pieces” for the summer issue of Material Girl magazine, even the “boots girl”  fell in love. What a coincidence – just a few days later there was a very nice event taking place in Vienna’s Zapateria, where not only the new Onitsuka Tiger SS-Collection but also some pretty awesome remakes of popular Asics and Onitsuka Tiger classics were presented.

For everyone who is new to Onitsuka Tiger, the japanese brand has been in the sport shoes scene since 1949 but became the official lifestyle brand of Asics in 2013. Their SS Collection offers such a huge selection, available in all-different, fancy colours. It’s simply impossible to choose only one favourite pair of them, so I ended up choosing two:

Number 1 would be the Tiger Corsair. This model is based on the shoes that helped to accelerate the jogging boom back on the 1970s. The style has been updated a bit with a more modern silhouette, but still maintains the design elements that let the original Tiger Corsair become so successful across both athletes and fashionistas.

Number 2 is the Mexico 66. Another retro model. Oh yeah, even when it comes to sneakers I seem to be the retro kind of girl. With the Mexico 66 I especially like the lightweight running silhouette. I love the simplicity of this all in black model- god I’d die to get them.

Another thing I really want to mention is the excellent customer service. It only took a couple of days until my shirt was ready. And when the package got lost on its way to vienna, they did spare no efforts to find out where it is.

Does make sense, right? Anyway, let’s get started. In a four step “shirt constructor procedure” you get to  choose each  element of your shirt. At first you pick the basic style and the colour of your shirt.

In the next steps you can decide about the collar and the sleeves of the shirt:

In the last step you can add any kind of extras to your shirt:

You can either choose a common size (small, medium…) or you can fill in your measurements in order to  make sure it really fits you in all the right places.

The price of the shirts varies between 70 – 130 euro, depending on which elements you choose. Quite a responsible price for a high quality shirt, that is actually really made for you.

Well I got the chance to create my own shirt already a couple of weeks ago and yesterday I finally could pick it up at the post office. Huh I could’t be any happier about the result.
