TikTok Trends Updated in January 2023

Looking for some TikTok inspo? You’ve come to the right place.

Each day/week, I’ll try update this page with the TikTok trends that pop into my FYP, what they are, and how you can incorporate them into your strategy.

What TikTok trends have I been seeing non-stop on my FYP? Here’s a few:

Date: 12/01/2023
Trend: Oops, got your coping skills
🎵 Sound: Original sound
How to get involved: Shoot a short video with the hand and arm stretched out to camera miming ‘taking’ something from the person watching behind the screen, to then opening your hands.

Make it relevant to you as a person, your industry or business – such as social media managers opening lots of tabs for example, et voila!

The sound currently has 11k videos, and has big potential to be shared across lots of different sector verticals.

⚡ Trend: Turning my mum into me
🎵 Sound: I Wish – Skee-Lo
How to get involved: Simple video edit of people filming their mums in their usual clothes, and then showing them dressed up as them.

The sound currently has 20k videos, and with people being home with their families for the holidays, the trend will likely grow further.
